Selby Civic Society’s first event of 2018 is on THURSDAY 15th February 2018 at 7.30pm in Portholme Church, Selby.
It’s a presentation by local performance actor Chris Cade entitled “BRUNEL’S BILLIARD TABLE”
Isambard Kingdom Brunel tells the tale of his own engineering background and, with a little audience participation, presents his arguments for a Broad Gauge on the Great Western railway between London and Bristol.
