The Society arranges regular meetings for its members, but these are also open to members of the public.

In addition a number of visits to places of interest are organised.

Emma Sharpe, Inspector of Historic Buildings and Areas at Historic England will talk about the status of "Conservation Areas".

They've been around since 1967 but are they being sustained or eroded?
The talk is in Portholme Church, Selby, YO8 4QH starting at 7.30pm

On SATURDAY 14th JULY 2018

An all-day coach trip to the historic East Yorkshire town of Beverley.

Boasting a 13th Century Minster, many other historic buildings and a thriving Saturday market, we'll be given a guided tour of the town by members of Beverley Civic Society - and there'll be some time to do your own thing.

Coach will pick up in Wistow and Selby.
